This is the second of two different Tank Vehicles CDL practice tests that we offer. Please take all of our free practice tests to ensure that you score well on the big day! A tank endorsement is required for certain vehicles that transport liquids or gases. The liquid or gas does not have to be a hazardous material.
A tank endorsement is required if your vehicle needs a Class A or B CDL and you want to haul a liquid or liquid gas in a permanently mounted cargo tank rated at greater than 450 liters (119 gallons) or a portable tank rated at greater than 1,000 gallons. A tank endorsement is also required for Class C vehicles when the vehicle is used to transport hazardous materials in liquid or gas form in the above described rated tanks.
Our free Tank Vehicles CDL practice test #2 contains 10 questions. You may not skip any of the questions. There is no time limit on the test. For maximum practice, we highly recommend taking each of our free CDL practice tests at least once.
Our Tank Vehicles CDL practice test database contains hundreds of questions. If you need more practice or want to improve your score, click the ‘Restart Quiz’ button at the end of the test. The questions will be presented in a different order but they’ll be the same questions you already answered. The second time around you should know the answers.
Feel free to retake this test as many times as you’d like. Once you receive your score there will be a button to View Questions. Wrong answers will be highlighted in red. The correct answer will be in a green box outlined in green.
Being the driver of a commercial vehicle is a huge responsibility. The written CDL test isn’t that bad. The actual driving test is rigorous. Inspectors do not want anyone on the road who isn’t capable of handling a big rig. Make sure you practice your driving and especially BACKING UP.
Congratulations on your decision to become a commercial driver!
